One Paseo Encourages San Diego To Shop Small This Holiday Season

One Paseo, San Diego’s newest shopping mecca, has shaped up to be a must-hit destination for Small Business Saturday shopping. The Urban Village features highly curated retail, with one dozen San Diego-owned shops and services on the roster, plus independent restaurants, making it simple to support small.

In honor of One Paseo’s first Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30th, several of the center’s local retailers will be on site to assist guests with any shopping needs. From 4:00pm to 6:00pm, shoppers will have the chance to chat with the owners of several San Diego-based businesses, including Shop Good, Marrow Fine, Blackbook, and Urban Beach House, to get personalized shopping advice, thoughts on trends of the season, and gather tailored gift recommendations. Representatives from Drybar, Lululemon, and Sweetfin will also be in store to provide their shopping guidance.

In addition to these customized shopping experiences, several shops will be offering exclusive specials and discounts to encourage guests to shop small. Small Business Saturday is the one day of the year that popular San Diego boutique, Pigment, offers promotions and patrons can expect a special gift with purchase at Shop Good.

Following Small Business Saturday shopping, One Paseo invites guests to stay for the center’s tree lighting ceremony. The ceremony will take place from 5:00 to 7:00pm, and feature live musical performances from the San Diego Children’s Choir and FROSTBITE, visits with Santa, and festive photo opportunities while snow cascades from the rooftops.
