Liberty Station Welcomes Back Community With Anchored In Hope Campaign

Today, Liberty Station Community Association (LSCA) is launching Anchored in Hope, its “welcome back” campaign focusing on the strength of the community and optimism for the future. Liberty Station is asking the public to “follow the anchor” to support open businesses, in-house restaurant dining and in-store shopping in the Liberty Station community.

Liberty Station Welcomes Back Community With Anchored In Hope Campaign

As restaurants and retailers resume business, LSCA is adding flag signage with the recognizable Liberty Station’s anchor logo throughout the property to inform the public which businesses are open. With the proper safety guidelines in place, this campaign aims to safely welcome San Diegans and visitors back into the community they know and love while also supporting Liberty Station businesses.

“We are excited to see the hustle and bustle come back to our community,” said Laurie Albrecht, director of the Liberty Station Community Association. “The word ‘hope’ means so much and we want the ‘Anchored in Hope’ campaign to demonstrate our strength as a community in uncertain times and as we go forward together with optimism for the future.”

With this campaign, Liberty Station is beginning to safely welcome the community back to its more than 60 retailers, restaurants, and public spaces to San Diego. As a first step, restaurants will offer in-house dining and takeout while retailers will begin to open doors for in-store shopping.

Liberty Station’s outdoor spaces, including the Ingram Plaza and North, Central and South Promenades, are open for guests to enjoy and are the perfect place to social distance. For the up-to-date list of open businesses and stages of reopening, visit here.
