The Tango Society By Camarada Brings The Passion Of Tango To San Diego
Tango Society, presented by Camarada The Chamber Music Ensemble, celebrates edgy and nostalgic tango standards with scintillating new arrangements as composer and double bass player, Andrés Martin, a native of Buenos Aires, cultivates the rich culture of Argentina with new rhythms and textures.
World’s foremost composer of Tango music
The concert will feature works by Astor Piazzolla, “the world’s foremost composer of Tango music,” including two Martín has arranged exclusively for this program. Be the first to hear Tristeza, an original composed by Martín – soaring, powerful, poignant – reminiscent of Piazzolla’s masterpiece Oblivion.
Join Martín, together with Beth Ross-Buckley, flute; Dave Buckley, violin; Dana Burnett, piano; and the fiery New York-based dance team of Carolina Jaurena and Juan Allesandrini; when they explore and create a new era – a new society of Tango!

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
