Downtown Chula Vista Lights Up the Season

The Downtown Chula Vista Tree Lighting is ready to illuminate South Bay’s most vibrant neighborhood. The festivities begin with a dazzling ceremony at Memorial Park, kicking off a season full of community celebration and winter wonder along Third Avenue.

Light Up The Night

Get ready for a magical evening on December 1 as the community gathers to illuminate Downtown Chula Vista’s iconic Christmas tree. The celebration kicks off at 5:30 PM with local leaders sharing their holiday wishes before the grand lighting moment.

Shop, Sip, and Be Merry

Why wait for the main event when you can make a whole afternoon of it? The Downtown Chula Vista Farmers Market is extending its hours from 3 PM to 6 PM, so you can:

  • Grab some festive treats
  • Sip on seasonal drinks
  • Score some unique holiday gifts
  • Catch carolers spreading musical cheer throughout the market

Double The Holiday Fun

Can’t get enough holiday spirit? Mark your calendars for December 14, when the beloved Starlight Parade & Festival rolls through Third Avenue. Break out your favorite festive sweater and join the fun as local groups show off their holiday floats in true South Bay style.

See you there!

Join the celebration at Memorial Park on Third Avenue, December 1, with the Farmers Market running 3 PM to 6 PM and tree lighting at 5:30 PM. Then come back for round two at the Starlight Parade & Festival on December 14.
