Seneca Launches Lunch, Adding New Daytime Dishes

Seneca, CH Project’s Roman trattoria which has been a highly sought-after dinner reservation in San Diego since they opened, has begun welcoming guests for lunch daily. Diners will be able to nosh on new dishes and Seneca favorites while taking in the stunning design and 19th-floor views during daylight hours.

Six new dishes

The new daytime menu highlights many of the restaurant’s favorite evening offerings and introduces several new menu items, including Carbonara Pizza with Farm Eggs, Guanciale, and Pecorino, Lumache Alla Bolognese with Wagyu Beef and Pork Ragu and Parmigiano, and Ribeye Tagliata with Watercress and Salsa Verde.

In total, the lunch menu debuts six new dishes, adding to the restaurant’s small plate, pizza, and entree offerings. Seneca’s full list of specialty cocktails, wine, and beer will also be available during lunch.

Ode to Roman cooking

CH Project’s unveiled Seneca in late July, and the project has quickly become a favorite haunt among locals and visitors alike. The project serves as an ode to Roman Cooking, forgoing ego in favor of tradition and personal connection.

Led by Seneca’s Executive Chef Russell Rummer (formerly of Pizzeria Delfina in San Francisco,) the menu emphasizes simplicity and draws inspiration from the restaurant’s unparalleled Pacific views, and the abundance of San Diego’s local seafood.

The restaurant’s updated hours are 11AM to 11PM. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made via Opentable here.

See you there, San Diego!
