ARTIFACT At Night Brings Prix Fixe Regional Dining To Balboa Park

ARTIFACT at Mingei is finally adding a dinner experience on Thursday and Friday evenings for a regional tour of Mingei’s notable exhibits in addition to our Tuesday- Saturday Lunch service.

The service includes a three-course prix fixe regional menu in addition to an a la carte dinner menu from Executive Chef Tim Kolanko and Chef de cuisine Jeff Armstrong.

Maghreb Dinner – March

March remaining dates 11, 17, 18, 24, 25

Featuring a family-style dining experience filled with muhammara + toasted walnuts, chermoula spiced lamb, and Tunisian braised bass, finishing items of montecaos and pistachio baklava. Maghreb Dinner menu can be found here.

Oaxaca Dinner – April

Featuring a family-style dining experience with highlights of  spot prawn aquachile, tlayuda + flor de calabaza, spiny lobster tetela, achiote duroc pork cooked in banana leaves and finished with a postre plate of pan de yema, coconut flan and Oaxacan dark chocolate cookies.
