Original 40 Brewing Company Hosts Three Special Beer Pairing Events
The Original 40 Brewing Company, named after the original 40-acre parcel of land that became modern-day North Park, is hosting three special beer pairing events during San Diego Beer Week.
Two of the three events include North Park neighbors, Nomad Donuts and Hammond’s Gourmet Ice Cream.
Street Taco & Beer Pairing
On Tuesday, November 8, enjoy beers with street tacos from its own kitchen from 12:00 noon – 8:00 p.m. ($19):
1. Baja Soul Mexican Lager with Beer Battered Fish Taco
2. Friars Robe Brown Ale with Short Rib Taco (poblano creme, serrano pepper, and cotija cheese)
3. Juice Maze Hazy IPA with Grilled Chicken Taco

Imperial Stout & Nomad Donut Pairing
On Thursday, November 10, enjoy an Imperial Stout and Donut pairing from Nomad from 12PM–12MN ($20).
- Smoked Sea Salt and Coconut BA Imperial Stout with Triple Chocolate donut
- Dark Horse Coffee and Vanilla BA Imperial Stout with Pecan Pie Donut
- Vanilla Rafiki BA Imperial Stout with Pumpkin Cider Cake Donut

Sour Beer & Ice Cream Pairing
On Saturday, November 12, enjoy a Sour Beer and Ice Cream pairing from Hammond’s from 12PM–5PM. ($16).

- Pineapple Chamoy Sour with Summer Berry Sorbet
- Blueberry Mango Sour with Mango Sorbet
