Chef Phillip Esteban Unveiled New White Rice Panciteria On Philippine Independence Day

White Rice Panciteria, an updated concept from award-winning chef Phillip Esteban, has officially launched on June 12th in honor of Philippine Independence Day.

In the absence of other Philippine cuisine offerings in the popular international food hall in National City, Chef Phillip Esteban has transformed his South Bay outpost of Weapon Ramen into an updated version of his wildly successful Silog bowl concept, White Rice.

While the menu features some of the beloved dishes available at other White Rice locations (Liberty Public Market, White Rice Bodega in Normal Heights, and soon to be opened Linda Vista location), White Rice Panciteria focuses on Filipino noodle dishes.

With the opening of White Rice Panciteria, Market on 8th is now home to the area’s first panciteria, or Filipino noodle house.
