Linda Vista Will Be Home To Another White Rice Outpost From Chef Phillip Esteban This July

Linda Vista will soon be home to White Rice Morena, another outpost of the popular Filipino Silog concept from award-winning chef Philip Esteban.

White Rice Morena opens July 15th

The new location (opening to the public on Saturday, July 15th) will feature the same delicious offerings as the stall in Liberty Public Market and White Rice Bodega in Normal Heights, including a diverse array of the signature savory rice bowls as well as Filipino street food skewers known as “ihaw ihaw” and other new dishes heavily influenced by Esteban’s childhood memories and cultural identity as a Filipino American.

Similar to the other White Rice locations, the Linda Vista outpost will offer counter-service in a friendly fast-casual atmosphere. 2,400 square feet of space will be outfitted with stylish design elements similar to other Open Gym concepts, including clean lines, Baltic Birch furnishings and unique hand painted signs by Koy Suntichotinun.

See you there

Located at 5299 Linda Vista Rd, #B San Diego, CA 92110, the new restaurant will be open 11AM to 8PM from Monday-Friday and 10AM to 8PM on the weekends, offering dine-in, pickup, as well as delivery through third party apps, and catering options.

Keep up to date with White Rice Morena through their website here and social media accounts: Instagram, Facebook.

See you there, San Diego!
