Nuts for Crafts at Bates Pumpkin Festival
Hey, San Diego! Ready to get crafty with your fall festivities? The Bates Pumpkin Festival Craft Fair is rolling into Bates Nut Farm, and it’s bringing a cornucopia of handmade goodies along for the ride.
Artisan Extravaganza
Over fifty artisans will be showcasing their American-made crafts and fine art. We’re talking everything from eye-catching jewelry to rustic woodworking, aromatic candles to whimsical toys. It’s like Etsy came to life, but with the added bonus of fresh country air!
Pumpkin Patch Paradise
While you’re browsing the crafts, swing by Bates’ famous Pumpkin Patch. Get lost in the straw maze, hop on a tractor for a hayride, or simply soak in the festive fall atmosphere. And let’s not forget about the food vendors—because nothing says “autumn” quite like munching on seasonal treats while surrounded by pumpkins.
Going Nuts for Bates
Bates Nut Farm started with just walnuts, but now they’re nuts about all kinds of nuts! From pistachios to pecans, cashews to peanuts, they’ve got it all. And they roast and package their nuts right there on the farm.
See you there!
The festival is happening on Saturday, October 5, and Sunday, October 6, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Admission is free, but parking will set you back $10 per vehicle for the day.
Grab your flannel, round up the family, and get ready for a weekend of harvest happiness at Bates Nut Farm!
