Campland on the Bay Celebrates 55 Years of Family Fun

Campland on the Bay is hitting the big 5-5, and they’re inviting all of San Diego to join the celebration! This iconic RV camping spot is throwing open its gates for a day of sun, fun, and community spirit.

A Day Packed With Bayside Bliss

Games galore, live tunes floating on the bay breeze, and the smell of delicious food truck eats wafting through the air—that’s what awaits at Campland’s scenic Central Park on Mission Bay.

The Giant Water Slide will be open for one last summer splash before it closes up shop for the season. For our RV-curious friends, Camping World’s bringing their coolest rigs to check out. We might just find ourselves planning our next road trip right then and there!

Fun for Every Age and Stage

Got a competitive streak? The life-sized games and bean bag tournament are calling. Feeling vocal? Join in the family-friendly Howling Contest—it’s sure to bring out the wolf in all of us. Hourly raffle drawings mean we might walk away with more than memories.

When our feet need a break, we’ll be sprawling out on the lawn, vibing to the 3 Car Garage Band (thanks, Good Sam!) and earlier beats from DJ Heath. Plus, a parade of food trucks will be standing by to keep our energy up for all this fun.

Don’t have an RV? No sweat! Local rental companies can set you up with a home-on-wheels, delivered right to your campsite. Or keep it old school with some tent camping—it’s the most affordable way to wake up to those million-dollar Mission Bay views.
