The Escondido Tamale Festival is back, bigger and better! More tamale vendors means more tasty options for you! Come be a part of this fun family FREE Event. Festivities include a Best Tamale Contest, Tamale Ordering & Tasting, Local Craft Beer & Wine Garden and Food Vendors. Bring your pooch and enter in the Chihuahua Costume Contest!

Grande Stage Entertainment featuring Mariachis, Latin Dance, Cultural Youth Performances, Hispanic Heritage exhibits, and other interesting attractions offer the perfect blend to compliment delicious foods and beverages.

Craft Vendors sell handmade, holiday items, multicultural holiday decor, Maker San Diego, kids craft area, Inflatable Bounce Houses, face painters and more! The Escondido Tamale Festival is produced by the Escondido Downtown Business Association for the marketing, support, and preservation of the 127 yr Old Historic Downtown Business District.
