Alpine Acres Faces Critical Financial Emergency and Asks for Community Support

Alpine Acres Sanctuary Farm is facing one of those moments when everything goes wrong at once.

The local animal sanctuary that’s been quietly caring for rescued animals is dealing with a perfect storm of expenses—over $32,000 in critical costs that need to be covered soon to keep their operation running and their animals safe.

What’s Happening

The sanctuary is juggling several urgent financial needs: staff payroll that’s due by the end of next week, an overdue well pump and pipe replacement that’s essential for their water system, emergency veterinary bills, and repairs to equipment they need for daily operations.

These aren’t luxury expenses—they’re the basic infrastructure and care costs that keep a sanctuary functioning.

Adding to the crisis, a trademark settlement payment they were counting on got delayed due to complications with Google account suspensions that were completely outside their control.

Meanwhile, the recent extreme heat wave kept visitors away entirely, eliminating their primary source of daily revenue right when they needed it most.

Why This Matters

Alpine Acres operates the way many small sanctuaries do—every dollar that comes in goes directly back into animal care, staff, and facility maintenance. There’s no financial cushion for emergencies like this, which makes them vulnerable when multiple problems hit at once.

The sanctuary has been weathering various challenges over the years, but this combination of circumstances has created an immediate crisis that directly impacts their ability to care for the animals that depend on them.
