Ballislife Meets SeaWorld: Elite High School Hoops is Coming to San Diego This April

San Diego is about to become the backdrop for one of high school basketball’s most exciting showcases. It’s happening somewhere you might not expect.

SeaWorld San Diego is teaming up with Ballislife for the 12th annual Ballislife All-American Game. This is the first time the event has ever landed in San Diego. Think top high school talent from across the country, a buzzing competitive atmosphere, and the unmistakable setting of one of the city’s most iconic destinations.

What’s on the Court for the Weekend

The two-day event is packed with action. Over the course of the weekend, there’s the Boys and Girls Ballislife All-American Games. In addition, there is a 3-Point Contest, a Dunk Contest, and a 1v1 series spotlighting some of the country’s most promising young players.

The whole thing is designed to give these athletes a stage that’s anything but ordinary. Ballislife founder Matt Rodriguez put it well: “Being a supporter of animal welfare and conservation myself, I want this event to help shed light on SeaWorld’s efforts to our fans and athletes.”

Two Communities, One Unforgettable Weekend

Part of what makes this event stand out is the crowd it’s going to bring together. Basketball fans and families who love SeaWorld will be sharing the same space. This creates a genuinely different kind of weekend energy.

Jackie Plaza, VP of Marketing and Sales for SeaWorld San Diego, summed it up: “Sports are a powerful force that unite communities and bring joy to people of all ages.” The goal is for this to become an annual tradition. Therefore, getting there for the debut feels like a pretty good call.

Included With Admission – and There’s More Going On Too

Both days of the basketball events are included with SeaWorld admission. This means you’re also walking into everything else the park has happening this spring. That includes the Seven Seas Food Festival, the return of Sea Lions Tonite, and the newly reimagined Shark Encounter.
