Nómada in Carlsbad is Throwing a Full-On Fiesta for Cinco de Mayo
Cinco de Mayo landing on a Tuesday this year is basically a sign, and Nómada in Carlsbad is running with it. The North County restaurant is hosting its first annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, and it’s free and open to the public – families, groups, everyone welcome.

A Proper Party From the Afternoon On
The restaurant is open all day for reservations, with the fiesta festivities kicking off in the afternoon. Think live music, roaming mariachi, folklórico dancers, and a whole lot of good food – all in Nómada’s vibrant indoor-outdoor setting that was practically made for an occasion like this.
What’s Going Down
Here’s a taste of what to expect:
- Live music and a roaming mariachi band bringing energy throughout the space
- Traditional folklórico dancers performing cultural showcases
- Live taco stations and fresh churros made to order
- Complimentary tequila tastings from premier producers Bebemos and Cazcanes

And yes – all of the above is complimentary.
