Dine In at Goop Kitchen’s First Sit-Down Restaurant in Del Mar

Yes, that goop. Gwyneth Paltrow’s brand just opened its first-ever dine-in restaurant at One Paseo in Del Mar, and it’s a 92-seat space she personally had a hand in designing. Clean food, California light, and marble she picked out herself. Very on brand.

A Room Gwyneth Paltrow Picked Out Herself

Michael Hsu Office of Architecture did the build, but Paltrow curated every detail – the marble, the music, all of it. The centerpiece is a dramatically veined marble feature wall, layered with walnut millwork, black-and-white tile, sculptural pendant lighting, and soft greenery throughout.

Steel-framed windows flood the dining room with natural light, striped banquettes keep things relaxed, and you’ve got both indoor and outdoor seating. It looks exactly how you’d imagine it.

The Field of Greens is a salad pizza – pesto, garlic confit, mozzarella, and parmesan, topped with the brand’s customer-favorite arugula salad. To drink: a strawberry-goji berry Palmer and a passion fruit lemonade. Both Del Mar-only. The menu is still growing, which means there’s always a reason to come back.
