Watch Acrobats Soar at Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland in Escondido

Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland is coming to the San Diego area for the first time, and it’s landing in Escondido at the California Center for the Arts.

It’s a holiday production that mixes world-class circus artistry with live holiday music, and it’s been a tradition for families across the U.S. and Canada. Look up, because there’s a lot happening above the stage.

Rediscover the Spirit of the Holidays

The story follows heroes who are transported into a dazzling winter wonderland where time seems to stand still. With each daring act, they grow younger, rediscovering the joy, imagination, and spirit of the holidays they thought they’d lost.

It’s a brand-new production, reimagined for 2026, with favorite holiday songs woven through every act. It’s crafted to feel more immersive and dreamlike than ever, so you’ll feel like part of the story.

Spinning Wheels, Skates, and Floating Wands

Performers from more than 13 countries bring a lineup of bold cirque acts to the stage. Ecuador’s Sanchez Brothers ride the massive spinning Wheel of Death, and Mexico’s Cesar Duo performs roller skating and hand-to-hand acrobatics.

American illusionist Dalton Sessumens weaves floating wand illusions with aerial artistry and drones. With acts this different from one another, there’s a thrill waiting around every turn.

Aerial Hoops, Hula Hoops, and Live Violin

Ukraine’s Gemini Twins sweep through the air on aerial hoop and loop, and Venezuela’s Michelle and her sister bring hula hoops, Cyr wheel, juggling, and unicycle feats. France’s Pierre adds playful comedy to powerful aerial pole and straps performances.

A live violinist brings the holiday soundtrack to life. Together, the acts mix grace, strength, and a good dose of humor, so there’s something for every age in the audience.
