Shop, Sip, and Wander the Waves & Makers Night Market
Kairoa Brewing Co. in University Heights is about to turn into one big night market. Waves & Makers is back for a full venue takeover, with more than 30 local vendors spread across multiple market zones.
Southern California small businesses, artists, and makers all share the same space, along with music and community. Come hungry, come thirsty, and bring a tote bag.

Handmade Goods and Vintage Finds
Vendors fill all 10,000-plus square feet of the venue, from the parking lot to the industrial brewpub and dining room to the rooftop patio, for a market that works indoors and out.
That means you can wander indoors and out, browsing vintage clothes, handmade goods, art, jewelry, and more from Southern California small businesses. Every turn brings another booth worth stopping for.
Spinning Vinyl While Artists Paint
The market has plenty going on beyond the shopping. A live DJ spins vinyl, an analog photobooth is ready for your next favorite photo, and artists create live art right in front of you.
Tall Tales also brings a book pop-up, so you can add a new read to your haul. Between the music, the art, and the photobooth, there’s always something to wander over to next.
Bring the Whole Crew
Entry is free, and the whole night is dog-friendly and open to all ages. With multiple bars and patios on site, you can shop, grab a drink, and settle in with friends between stops.
The good energy comes with the territory when makers, music, and neighbors share the same space. It’s an easy night to linger, whether you’re chatting with the folks behind the booths or catching up with friends on a patio.
See you there!
Bring your friends, your dog, and room in your tote bag. This is the kind of night market that makes you stay longer than you planned.
