Now Open: Alila Marea Beach Resort In Encinitas

Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas officially welcomes guests today, opening as the brand’s first new-build in the Americas, located world-class beachfront setting and delivering a ‘barefoot luxury’ experience for its guests.

‘Barefoot luxury’

Located in a quintessential beach town in San Diego’s North County Coastal region, Alila Marea Beach Resort Encinitas delivers authentic and bespoke experiences while bringing the brand’s sustainable tourism, innovative eco-design and intimate destination experiences to Southern California.

The guest experience will be centered around an overall feeling of ‘barefoot luxury’, echoing the unscripted, relaxed, and welcoming vibes of the surrounding destination and its vibrant surf and beach culture.

Coastal bluffs and ocean views

Set along the coastal bluffs in the northern side of Encinitas, the hotel boasts 130 coastal and garden view rooms, including 16 suites and two Presidential Suites with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing direct views of the Pacific Ocean.

Food, spa, and fun!

The signature ocean-view restaurant, VAGA Restaurant & Bar, features the finest local and sustainably sourced ingredients and is helmed by award-winning local celebrity Chef Claudette Zepeda.

There is more than 28,500 square feet of expansive meeting and event space, with six distinctive indoor-outdoor venues, as well as Spa Alila, a world-class spa and wellness experience that infuses the ocean’s healing attributes throughout.

 

Alila Experiences, the brand’s locally-inspired programming to make sure you have plenty to do during your stay, including surf lessons, electric bikes, and a partnership with local surfer and environmentalist, Rob Machado.
