Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill Makes A Splash In Ocean Beach

Mission Hills’ beloved Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill opened its second location – this one in Ocean Beach.

The Space

Blue Water Seafood and Grill offers a fast-casual concept with a full seafood market. All stocked with fresh fish, shellfish, smoked fish, lobster bisque and more. The new space will be bigger than its Mission Hills counterpart and will offer large booths. This includes family-style seating and wood tables with unique custom designs of fish carvings in them.

There will also be an outdoor patio area illuminated by white market lights. This offers diners with a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean.

The Food

The restaurant offers the option to customize any meal. It lets you choose the fresh fish and marinade, and choice of sandwich, salad, plate or taco. The menu is led by the restaurant’s award-winning “Track Taco”. The taco is served on a fresh corn tortilla with melted cheddar and dressed with homemade white sauce, tomatillo sauce and avocado.

The Blue Water Seafood Story

Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill is a family business, operated by brothers and Ocean Beach natives Matt and Judd Braun. They collaborated with San Diego-based restaurant development group, Social Syndicate. Their objective was to create a family-friendly destination in Ocean Beach.
