Buona Forchetta Group Is Opening Two New Concepts

Anyone who has been in San Diego long enough has heard of Buona Forchetta and their award-winning Neapolitan style pizza.

But the Buona Forchetta family is no one-trick pony. While they do have a third Buona Forchetta location slated to open this winter in Coronado, the restaurant group is opening two brand new concepts first.

Buona Forchetta

Gelati & Peccati

Gelati & Peccati will be opening this fall in the heart of North Park, serving up Roman style pizza and house-made gelato.

Buona Forchetta

Matteo

The passion project of Buona Forchetta owner Matteo Cattaneo (the restaurant’s namesake), is the group’s first nonprofit restaurant. This Italian-American breakfast spot and bakery will give all its proceeds to a rotating selection of 501c3 nonprofits focused on children and childhood development. It’s projected to open in late 2019.

Very cool!

See you there!
