Trust Restaurant Group’s Cardellino Reopens With All-New Menus From Morning To Night

Cardellino, Trust Restaurant Group’s Italian-American inspired concept led by Executive Chef and Owner Brad Wise, has reopened its doors (again…both indoor and outdoor), and unveiled new menus for brunch, dinner and happy hour that were rolled out over the past couple of weeks.

The all-day eatery and bakery located in Mission Hills offers guests coffee, pastries and lunch items for those on the go from its bakery counter in the morning, café style daytime eats, afternoon to evening happy hour, and dinner.

Bakery + Breakfast + Lunch

Start your morning at the bakery featuring fresh-made donuts, pastries, breads, cookies and assorted sweets plus coffee and espresso (freshly roasted by Heartwork Coffee). Cardellino’s fresh take on breakfast and lunch includes fresh and healthy (and a few indulgent) items including Warm Banana Bread with espresso mascarpone, toasted almonds, Smoked Salmon Crostino, and Beet Marinated Grilled Salmon Bowl. Of course, the menu wouldn’t be complete without fan favorite pizza and pasta options, including the not-to-be-missed Potato Pizza with panna, danish fontina, mozzarella, guanciale, red onion and fresh oregano.

Dinner

The dinner menu features apertivi, pastas, pizzas, entrees and dolci. Selections include pizza and pasta combinations, such as the Lamb Sausage and Rapini pizza featuring herb goat cheese, tomato confit, garlic cream, coriander and cilantro, Unstuffed Shells with ricotta cheese, kale, artichoke, pomodoro, grana padano, chiles, or the Chef’s Late Night Style Grilled Meyers New York Strip with mushrooms, roasted pepper salad, shaved parmesan, aged balsamic.

Dessert

Finish off your meal with sweet selections such as Ricotta Beignets, Cannoli Cones, or a scoop of Mr. Trustee’s Spumoni Ice Cream.

Happy Hour

Enjoy the happiest hours of the day on the patio and at the bar. The menu is ideal for those looking for a casual bite and beverage. Cool off with an $8 Aperol Spritz or glass of sangria, $6 beers on tap, or $7 select wines. Happy hour goers can also choose to munch from a generous list including Wild Mushroom Arancini, Fig & Goat Cheese Crostini, their famous Cardellino Burger, or select pizzas.

Cocktails

Bar Manager Jessica Stewart has crafted a selection of cocktails inspired by an Italian road trip. From the Amalfi Coast with vodka, lemon, basil, and prosecco and the Mont Blanc with gin, lime, mint, eucalyptus, and meringue to the Isle of Capri with white rum, lime, coconut water, and algae and the Valley of Temples with reposado, Calabrian chilies, pineapple, lime, ginger, and aleppo pepper your tastebuds will travel from the top to the bottom of the boot.

Cardellino is open Wednesday – Sunday. Early birds can enjoy the bakery counter starting at 8AM, or daytime brunch menu from 9AM – 2:30PM, happy hour is served 3 – 6PM, and dinner service runs from 5 – 9PM. Guests can dine in socially-distanced comfort inside or on the outdoor patio. For reservations or more information, visit here.
