Prolific Chicago Developer Expands Into San Diego With the Debut of “The Nash”

CEDARst Companies has officially opened doors to The Nash, a luxury residential community comprised of 190 units across seven stories, making it a smart and stylish focal point along the vibrant Park Boulevard corridor linking University Heights, North Park, and Hillcrest.

The Nash debuts as the first of several mixed-use communities in San Diego to be developed by CEDARst.

Under the umbrella of the popular FLATS property management brand by ProperXPM, The Nash marks a pivotal milestone in the Chicago-based real estate pioneer’s West Coast expansion, adding to a nationwide portfolio spread across eight states that totals $4 billion in asset value and 7,000 apartments in various stages of development.

Wellness-Oriented Amenities for Holistic Living

Inside The Nash, residences include studios, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom floorplans ranging from 400 to 800 square feet.

Spaces are designed to serve as a canvas for personalized living, and the units live large with walk-in closets, spa-like bathrooms that include glass-enclosed rainfall showers, in-unit laundry, and modern kitchens.

Nearly half of all units feature expansive balconies that double as outdoor living rooms, while others draw the outdoors in with oversized sliding glass doors, juliette balconies, and skyline views of the neighborhood and beyond.

Coworking & Hospitality Spaces That Welcome Non-Tenants

The ground floor of the Nash strikes a powerful first impression. Inspired by high-end hotel lobbies, the main entrance on Park Boulevard creates a lush and verdant entry plaza.

Inside, a co-working lounge with multiple seating areas, a private conference room, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a 2,110-square-foot restaurant space with patio seating play an integral role in fostering a sense of community and contributing to the neighborhood’s hospitality-driven culture.
