Sam The Cooking Guy Launches CooCoo’s Nest In Little Italy Food Hall

A new concept has joined the lineup at the Little Italy Food Hall just in time for Spring! CooCoo’s Nest by Sam the Cooking Guy is now open at the Food Hall.

CooCoo's Nest by Sam the Cooking Guy

Chick for the people, by the people

Hatched as another collaboration between Sam the Cooking Guy and Grain & Grit Collective, CooCoo’s Nest promises bold chicken for the people, by the people…with a 70’s flair.

Made famous by his “everyday guy” approach to cooking with an irreverent zest, Sam brings that same panache to his take on fried chicken.

Easy comfort food and groovy vibes

The CooCoo’s Nest menu presents quick and easy comfort food with groovy vibes.

The delicious crispy chicken sandwiches like the Mac Daddy, loaded with mac & cheese and garlic aioli on a brioche bun, or the Hot Southern Sweetie with Mike’s hot honey, pickles, calabrian chili aioli, all topped on a house buttermilk biscuit, take center stage.

They are accompanied by jumbo chicken tenders, crispy chicken salads, and sides to round out your meal.

The CooCoo’s Nest is open for dine-in or takeout Sunday to Thursday, 11AM-9PM, and Friday to Saturday, 11AM-10PM, inside the Little Italy Food Hall.

Little Italy Food Hall is located at 550 W Date St Suite B, San Diego, CA 92101.
