The Corner Drafthouse Marks Three Years Of Brews And Bites In Bankers Hill

Bankers Hill locals’ hangout, The Corner Drafthouse, celebrated its third birthday on June 26, 2019.

Boasting a locally sourced tap list and daily happy hour specials, co-owners David Creviston and Dan Sobek curated the beer-centric concept in 2016 after the success of its sister restaurant, The Bier Garden of Encinitas.

“We’re ecstatic with how the Bankers Hill neighborhood has embraced and accepted us into their tight-knit community,” said Managing Partner David Creviston. “Hitting the three-year milestone in the competitive San Diego restaurant business is an achievement that has far exceeded our expectations; we owe much of our success to our dedicated employees, we could have never achieved this without their hard work.”

The neighborhood gastropub is located one block from Balboa Park and offers 70 of the best local craft beers on tap, alongside seasonal West Coast comfort food by Executive Chef Ruben Zamarripa.

In honor of the three-year milestone, new menu additions include a Cubano Sandwich, a Ground Pork and Soyrizo Burger and a Grilled Portabella Burger.
