La Valencia’s The Med will offer an exclusive Valentine’s Day five-course pairing dinner, inspired by premium Remy Martin XO cognac.

Executive Chef Timothy Ralphs has created a special menu that incorporates Remy Martin XO cognac into each dish, including Lobster plated with parsnip, radish, caviar, peas and XO and the Muscovy Duck rangoon with pistachio, salsify and cognac clementine glaze. Remy XO Old Fashioned: accompanied by a pairing of chocolate truffles, dark chocolate bark, orange cognac glee and cashew clusters. Patisserie Melanie

The Westgate Hotel

This Valentine’s Day lovebirds can cozy up at The Westgate Hotel to enjoy a four-course prix-fixe menu with an optional wine pairing prepared by Executive Chef Fabrice Hardel. Start with the Diver Scallop with bowfin caviar and grilled leek in a vermouth emulsion, then transition to the Cape Grim New York Steak with charred shallot, Yukon gold potato puree, in a port wine reduction.

Make like Lady and the Tramp and share some Tagliatelle twisted with bolognese at Monello, the chic Italian restaurant located in the heart of Little Italy. Similarly to Bencotto, they will be offering a special Valentine’s Day a la carte only menu on Friday, February 14 and a Valentine’s Day three-course prix fix menu, on February 12, 13, 15 and 16 for $40 a person.

Options will include Panzerotti Al Tartufo, fried mini calzones stuffed with mozzarella, shiitake mushrooms and white truffle, Gnocchi di Brasato, homemade large potato dumplings filled with braised beef in a parmesan cream sauce with poppy seeds, and Tagliatelle Nere, squid ink fettuccine in a spicy pink tomato sauce with shrimp. One Door North 

North Park’s ode to the outdoors, will be serving a special Valentine’s day menu featuring three courses for $55 per person. They’ll also have two special Valentine’s day cocktails, Cupid’s Arrow with gin, strawberries, beet juice and rose water and The French Kiss which has gin, raspberries, lemon juice and topped with Prosecco.

The Cork and Craft

The neighborhood hot spot and Executive Chef Scott Cannon are serving a 4-course prix fixe menu with impressive selections. Giardino

The charming and cozy Italian restaurant is the perfect place to head on Valentine’s Day weekend. Giardino is offering an a la carte dinner menu in addition to a 3-course menu for $45. Cusp Dining & Drinks 

The 11th floor restaurant atop Hotel La Jolla is the perfect place to spend Valentine’s Day. Not
only was it voted one of the Most Romantic Restaurant’s in SD, but it has the food and service to match. Chef Ingrid Funes is serving her regular menu alongside chef specials, like a Land & Sea Duo of scallop and prime beef short ribs. Pacifica Del Mar

Celebrating 30 years atop Del Mar Plaza, Pacifica has remained a popular destination where the

Chef Dustin Karagheusian’s Valentine’s Day menu includes a two person 4-course meal for $99, featuring dishes such as Beef Heart Carpaccio or Oysters to start, Beet Agnolotti, Wood Grilled Filet, Local Pam Roasted Halibut and more. Whisknladle 

For over a decade, Whisknladle has remained a sought-after spot to gather over good food and
drink. Valentine’s Day is no exception. Not only are they serving their entire menu a la carte, Chef / Partner Ryan Johnston has created specials worth dining for. Start with Oysters and bubbly, then share a Lobster Mac n’ Cheese or order the Petite Filet. End the meal with a special Strawberry Vacherin dessert.

Sugar Factory American Brasserie

Water Grill

The Valentine’s celebrations start early and last all weekend at Water Grill. A $70, three-course dinner will be offered on February 13th, 15th and 16th. For the big day itself, a special $75, three-course menu is available and features delicious dishes like Wild Pacific Swordfish served a la plancha with spaghetti squash and tapenade or Wild South African Lobster Tails with drawn butter and lemon.

JSix Restaurant

Spearheaded by Chef Steve Hamilton, the first course offers options such as West Coast Oysters, Scallop Crudo and Carrot Ginger Bisque, while the second course includes Boar Gnocchi, Jsix Salad and Roasted Carrots. Diners can then move on to select their third course, which consists of Seafood Puttanesca, Mary’s Airline Chicken Breast, Surf and Turf and Wild Mushroom Risotto. Say, ‘te amo mucho,’ at Havana 1920. The intimate restaurant and lounge will offer a three-course dinner priced at $80 for couples. The meal will start with a shared cocktail followed by sampling of bocaditos including plantain chips, ham croquettes and picadillo-stuffed potato.
