Celebrate Dad’s Day Aboard X Wine Railroad With A Tasting Trip From L.A. To Santa Barbara’s Happy Canyon Vineyard

With Mother’s Day in the rearview mirror, it is now time to start planning a celebration where dads can behave dad-ly. X Wine Railroad still has space available on its June 19th excursion from Los Angeles Union Station to Santa Barbara’s Happy Canyon Vineyard that includes a guided tour and tasting with winemaker Sean D. Pitts.  The cost is $399 per person and reservations can be made online here!

Happy Canyon Vineyard

Happy Canyon Vineyard is a family-owned and operated estate vineyard and boutique winery known for its award-winning Bordeaux varietals. The Barrack family blends their love of wine with their passion for Polo, evidenced on each wine label, and boasts a pair of regulation-sized Polo fields just a grape-toss from the vineyard. Guests aboard X Wine Railroad will get to personally taste the wines with family member and winemaker, Sean D. Pitts, who will be available to answer questions and explain the history and winemaking process of Happy Canyon Vineyard.

“We’re very excited to bring a select group of wine enthusiasts to Happy Canyon Vineyard and meet with Sean,” said Dianne David, president of the female-owned and operated X Wine Railroad. “The estate is teeming with ponies, Polo and great wine and seems like the perfect place to toast dad on Father’s Day Eve.”

Hop aboard in an all-inclusive wine tasting

X Wine Railroad’s curated wine tasting are all-inclusive with round-trip rail transportation, a luxury charter from Santa Barbara’s train depot to the designated winery, snacks and bottled water, vineyard tour and guided tasting with vintner or winemaker, artisan boxed lunch from a local caterer and free time to explore Los Olivos on a self-guided wine walking. Dinner and any wine purchases are at the discretion of each guest.

A special Business Class car has been reserved for X Wine Railroad passengers. The train will depart from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles at 10AM and return to that at 9:48PM.
