Drive To Del Mar And Watch Concerts Or Movies In Your Car

California’s FIRST social-distanced concert and entertainment series, “Concerts In Your Car” has popped up at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, in San Diego County! This drive-in concert series is a new entertainment experience – from the comfort and safety of your own vehicle. Each week top tier talent will hit our stage, giving us all an opportunity to sing, dance, laugh, connect and have fun!

Below are the Del Mar Fairgrounds schedule:

October 4, Sunday

DJ SNOOPADELIC

8PM

A multi-faceted entertainer, Snoop performs worldwide as a DJ under the name DJ Snoopadelic, where he has been tearing up festivals and clubs around the world for years. Snoop Dogg aka DJ Snoopadelic was the first hip hop performer to secure a Las Vegas residency.

October 9, Friday

CHRIS JANSON

8PM

Breakout country star Janson is a platinum-selling recording artist, high-octane entertainer, multi-instrumentalist, and award-winning singer/songwriter. In the five years since the release of his debut album, the three-time CMA nominee has collected prestigious accolades that place him amongst country music greats.

October 10, Saturday

SLIGHTLY STOOPID

8PM

Employing a self-described amalgam of “folk, rock, reggae and blues with hip-hop, funk, metal and punk,” Southern California’s Slightly Stoopid originated in the 1990s as a classic SoCal skatepunk crew before transitioning into cannabis-fueled purveyors of carefree, jam-centric good times with the release of 2003’s Everything You Need.

October 16, Friday

THIRD EYE BLIND

8:30PM

Although often lumped into the post-grunge category, Third Eye Blind sported a brighter sound than many of their late-’90s peers, taking more influence from classic pop/rock traditions than the angst-ridden music that dominated the decade.

October 17, Saturday

TOWER OF POWER

8PM

With a landmark 50th anniversary album, one would think Tower of Power, the much-lauded creators of their own horn-based, hybrid brand of East Bay soul/funk/R&B/rock, would take a well-deserved breather. But that is not in the band’s DNA, nor that of its founder and ringmaster, Emilio Castillo. The bottom line for the band is wanting the audience to feel TOP music with both body and soul.

October 24, Saturday

THE BEACH BOYS With Special Guest John Stamos

4PM

One of the most influential acts of the rock era, purveyors of both infectious surf music and sophisticated baroque/psychedelic pop. Beginning their career as the most popular surf band in the nation, the Beach Boys finally emerged by 1966 as America’s preeminent pop group, the only act able to challenge (for a brief time) the overarching success of the Beatles with both mainstream listeners and the critical community.

October 25, Sunday

SUBLIME WITH ROME

8PM

Sublime with Rome is a musical collaboration between Eric Wilson, formerly of the American ska punk band Sublime, and singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez. … As a result, they changed their name to “Sublime with Rome” in January 2010. The group initially began touring its namesake’s catalog, then spent the following decade recording new original albums like 2015’s Sirens under the Sublime with Rome banner.

November 1, Sunday

AARON LEWIS & SULLY ERNA

8PM

For the first time ever, Sully Erna and Aaron Lewis, two of the most acclaimed frontmen in rock, the voices of multiplatinum rock bands Godsmack and Staind, will perform their hits together, side-by-side, in an intimate and unplugged evening on The American Drive-In Tour, kicking off in October.
