DixiePops Brings Fresh, Hand-Crafted Popsicles To Little Italy…YUM!

Dixie Hall, a veteran of the San Diego commercial real estate industry, decided to follow her passion for the next stage in her career, and as a result she opened DixiePops in Little Italy.

And thank goodness she did!

These aren’t your standard, run-of-the-mill popsicles! We’re talking hand-crafted popsicles made daily from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients (whenever possible) that have a creative flare that is as unique as it is tasty.

Flavors include Strawberry Mint, Vietnamese Coffee, Pineapple Basil, & Watermelon Peach Jalapeno, Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana, and more…with new flavors being created all the time based on the fresh fruits available each season.

The first location is a walk-up window located at 555 West Beech Street – attached to the Roma Urban Market.

Visitors to the store will be able to watch the pops being made.

Some flavors will be carried year-round, while others will be made on a seasonal basis. Others will be rotated in and out based on demand.

Customers can choose from flavors low in calories but big on taste, or indulge in decadent dessert pops that keep the calories under control. Many of the pops are dairy free, some are vegan and all are gluten free. None contain any high fructose corn syrup, soy, artificial ingredients or preservatives and added sugar is kept to a minimum or are made with agave.

Most are under 75 calories with many under 50. All are refreshing and delightfully delicious.

Popsicle Delivery!

In addition to DixiePops’ walk up window, a weekly delivery route also provides these delightful treats to locals who sign up in the Little Italy and Downtown areas. Come on?!

For more information about these delivery routes, contact DixiePops by email.

DixiePops also offers catering for private events, and private label opportunities for businesses (where you can put your own name or logo on the pop stick and/or wrapper).

Popsicle for Pups!

Puppy Pops are also a specialty of DixiePops (made especially for dogs) and are sure to bring a big tail-wag to your best pal, so be sure to bring your pup along with you when you stop by!

Be sure to stop in the next time you are in Little Italy, and say hi to Dixie for us!

See you there!
