El Chingon Says “Adios” To Summer Bods With Monstrous Burrito Challenge And New Menu Items

El Chingon, GBOD Hospitality Group’s “Bad Ass Mexican” restaurant in the Gaslamp Quarter, has introduced new dishes, drinks and a five-pound burrito challenge to its menu to round out summer!

New menu items include:

The Revolución Dog

Two bacon-wrapped kosher dogs topped with chiles toreados, onions, tomatoes, mayonnaise and ketchup, priced at $14

Baja Fish Burrito

Made with batter-fried cod, black beans, white rice, cabbage, pico de gallo, Mexican citrus and chipotle cream, priced at $10

Fat Ass Burrito

A five-pound burrito made three flour tortillas stuffed with carne asada, refried beans, rice, pico de gallo and Chingón cheese blend, priced at $29

Join the Eating Contest and win a Bad Ass Tshirt

Guests may also order the Fat Ass Burrito as part of The Cinco Libras Challenge, where they’re challenged to finish the five-pound burrito in under 15 minutes.

Winners will receive the burrito for free, a Bad Ass T-shirt and have their photo displayed in the restaurant.

A tribute to celebrity chef, author and travel documentarian Anthony Bourdain and his respect for back of house staff, priced at $20.
