Empanada Kitchen Chooses North Park To Open Second Location
Empanada Kitchen, a local purveyor serving up Argentine food culture in San Diego with handmade, baked empanadas, announced it opened a second location centrally situated on El Cajon Boulevard in the foodie-haven neighborhood of North Park last Monday, September 23.
The casual restaurant originated at the North Park Farmer’s Market in 2016, and its first brick and mortar location opened in February 2018 in Downtown San Diego. After less than one year Downtown, Empanada Kitchen was named one of “Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S. 2019.
“This accolade, along with much additional praise and demand for their golden-brown baked empanadas, motivated an expansion with a new location in one of San Diego’s favorite boroughs. We couldn’t be happier to be returning to where it all began for us in North Park,” said Matias Rigali.
“This neighborhood is one of the major hubs for all the latest and greatest in the San Diego restaurant, nightlife, and art scenes and it’s extremely exciting for us to be part of this community.”
The new North Park location at 2855 El Cajon Boulevard serves all the original favorite permanent and rotating savory and sweet flavors, and beginning in Fall 2019, they also serve a variety of local craft beer and wine.
See you there!
