Kick Off National Bike Month With A Community Ride And Celebration

The San Diego biking community is strong and getting stronger every day thanks to a growing focus on the importance of being a biking-friendly community. The San Diego Bike Coalition joins the celebration of the National Bike Month as a way to thank and celebrate the people who made many efforts throughout the country in making San Diego more bike-friendly.

Bike riders across San Diego will gather to kick off the first of many events for National Bike Month. The Bike Coalition will host a free, leisurely, family-friendly bike ride from Quartyard in East Village to Barrio Logan led by council members, David Alvarez and Chris Ward.

Following the ride, participants can enjoy craft beverages while dancing to live music from local Latin-fusion band, Elrio.
