Celebrate One of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s Greatest Legends At Tony-Nominated ‘A Night With Janis Joplin’
The exhilarating, Tony® Award-nominated Broadway musical, A Night With Janis Joplin, is coming to San Diego!
Originally scheduled for January, the new show celebrating the life and music of one of rock ‘n’ roll’s greatest legends will now fall on February 7th and 8th.
After watching some of the video clips of her performances, we must say that Kelly McIntyre–who plays Joplin–certainly has the vocals to do her songs justice!

Written and directed by Randy Johnson, A Night With Janis Joplin is a story about a girl who entered the music scene in 1967 and, almost overnight, became the queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.
The musical also celebrates Joplin and her biggest musical influences such as Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Odetta, Nina Simone, and Bessie Smith. All of whom inspired Joplin to become one of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s greatest legends.
