Live Music Takes Over Adams Avenue From Noon to Midnight
One of San Diego’s favorite local music traditions, Adams Avenue Unplugged, is back! This all-day walkabout returns with more than 80 live performances across 24 venues, stretching from University Heights through Normal Heights and into Kensington.
Expect everything from acoustic sets in cozy coffee shops to full-band energy pouring out of your favorite neighborhood bars and restaurants. The lineup is packed with local talent, giving you the perfect excuse to bar-hop, discover new music, and support the creative heartbeat of the community.

A Rock Legend Hits the Main Stage
This year’s headliner is the legendary Terry Reid—also known as Superlungs. If you know, you know. This British rock and soul icon has shared stages with The Rolling Stones, Cream, and Fleetwood Mac, famously turned down the lead singer spot in Led Zeppelin, and earned high praise from Aretha Franklin.
He’ll be headlining the main stage at NH United Methodist Church, anchoring a full day of performances that blend big moments with intimate sets all along the avenue.

Beer Gardens, Bites, and Block Party Vibes
The day kicks off at noon and rolls into the night until midnight. Want a prime hangout spot? Snag a $25 VIP ticket to the beer garden at NH United. You’ll get access to craft beer, delicious food, and a chill space to recharge between sets.
Of course, the avenue will be alive with eats and drinks from neighborhood favorites—everything from burgers and brews to tacos, wine, and espresso.
