Adidas Skateboarding And Journeys Announce ‘Destination San Diego’ Music Festival
Adidas Skateboarding, alongside specialty shoe and apparel retailer, Journeys, announce the launch of ‘Destination San Diego’, an immersive music experience inspired by the culture of action sports.
The free, single-day experience will take over Horton Plaza Park on August 11th from noon to 10pm, and will showcase live musical performances infused with art exhibitions, beer gardens, and custom merchandise stations from artist Bonethrower.
‘Destination San Diego’ is expected to become an annual event that will visit a different U.S. city each year and aims to disrupt the traditional music festival circuit.
Adidas Skateboarding and Journeys created the ‘Destination San Diego’ experience to answer a call for a fresh music concept that catered to U.S. cities outside of the frequented markets of Los Angeles and New York City.
