From sea to shining sea, we’ll celebrate the evolution of American music from its earliest roots in folk tunes to jazz to the modern symphony orchestra.

Come early for fun pre-concert activities! We’ll have an Instrument Discovery Zone provided by Bertrand’s Music as well as Liam Williams and friends from Apple Store Fashion Valley presenting a short demonstration (in our Gould Room) on using your tablet to access music. Also, the Girl Scout String Quartet will be performing for our Young Musicians’ Corner and you’ll be able to meet one of our San Diego Symphony musicians as well!
