Craft Beer And Live Music Return To Third Avenue Village For The Annual Amps & Ales
A hoppy fusion of local and international brews, tasty bites, and live music are in store at this year’s Amps & Ales in Third Avenue Village, hosted by the Downtown Chula Vista Association.
Amps & Ales amped up!
They are taking things up a notch this year, with an increase in participating breweries, additional live entertainment, and more tasty bites than years prior.
The event boasts an impressive lineup of 38 local and international breweries, distilleries, and wineries this year.
Embracing the growing beer scene, Downtown Chula Vista has blossomed into a thriving hub for craft beer and now numerous breweries have created the South Bay neighborhood as their home.
“With each Amps & Ales, Downtown Chula Vista continues to prove themselves as a popular destination for craft beer lovers,” said Dominic Li Mandri, District Manager of the Downtown Chula Vista Association. “This event is meant to highlight the amazing brewers in the community and worldwide as well as bring the community together for a fun afternoon with live music, good food, and of course some tasty ales!”

Among the breweries that have now established their presence in the heart of Third Avenue is Bar Sin Nombre, Chula Vista Brewery, Groundswell Brewing, The Balboa South, The Vogue Tavern, Third Avenue Alehouse, Thr3e Punk Ales, and the latest addition, ATTITUDE Brewing Co.
They’ll be joined by the lineup with other award-winning breweries from all over to give guests a chance to sample their beer galore!

Info and Tickets
General Admission tickets are $35 and include entry into the event from 1PM-4PM, while VIP tickets are $45 and include entry into the event an hour before general admission, from Noon-4PM.
