Shop Small and Skate On in Downtown Escondido
Downtown Escondido is kicking its 9th Annual Small Business Saturday into high gear with an incredible twist. This year’s celebration combines the charm of local shopping with the nostalgic thrill of roller skating, bringing back memories of the beloved Ups and Downs rink while creating fresh experiences for a new generation.
A Holiday Adventure Awaits
Holiday Bingo turns downtown into the ultimate treasure hunt, featuring more than 26 local shops and plenty of prizes.
You can grab your bingo cards and maps at Heritage Garden Park (at E. Grand and Juniper) between 11 AM and 4 PM, where holiday carolers, photo ops, art activities, and festive decorations create the perfect seasonal atmosphere.
Supporting local businesses makes a real difference—67 cents of every dollar spent stays right in the community. Discover unique finds at beloved spots like Hawthorne Country Store, Ginger Road Beauty and Wellness, and The Grand Tea Room, knowing each purchase helps the neighborhood thrive.
Skating Back into Hearts
The star of this year’s celebration? A brand new roller rink that’s bringing back the magic of Escondido’s skating days. Opening November 30, the rink welcomes skaters every weekend through year’s end, with plans to roll into daily sessions during the holiday season.
