The Grass Skirt in Pacific Beach is bringing back their signature summer send-off with an all-inclusive tropical celebration that’s become a local tradition.
This eighth annual Tiki Luau combines Executive Chef Brian Redzikowski’s culinary skills with the kind of Polynesian-inspired atmosphere that makes Pacific Beach feel like an actual island destination for an afternoon.
The All-Inclusive Experience
The event covers everything from traditional spit-roasted pig to rum tastings and Polynesian snacks, creating a true feast-for-all-senses experience.
General admission includes access to multiple food stations featuring bao buns, tuna breakdown and poke, roasted pork, plus classic luau sides like potato salad, macaroni salad, and slaw. Devil’s Dozen donuts add a local touch to the traditional spread.
The beverage program features an impressive lineup of sponsors including Diplomatico, Kraken, Bacardi, Hendricks, and local favorites like Juneshine and 9 North. The variety ensures options for different taste preferences while maintaining the tropical theme throughout.
VIP vs General Admission
VIP admission offers one hour early entry, two specialty drink tickets, a branded coconut, exclusive Captain’s Quarters access, and a tarot card reader, plus a welcome lei. General admission includes all the food and basic beverage access.
