ArtWalk Liberty Station returns for its 21st year at the Arts District at Liberty Station – starting with a Friday Preview pARTy sponsored by Ranch and Coast Magazine that gets you in before the weekend crowds.

Whether you’re a serious collector or just looking for a genuinely fun Friday night in San Diego, this is a great way to start the weekend.

Sip, Stroll, and Collect Under the Summer Sky

The Friday evening event gives you first access to original works from more than 175 fine artists from across the U.S. and Mexico – painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, glass, ceramics, and more – all before the weekend crowds arrive.

Sip, stroll, and collect in a lively, intimate festival atmosphere under the San Diego summer sky. Tickets are $28, and kids 12 and under get in free.

The live music lineup adds a whole other layer to the evening – The PettyBreakers bring the music of Tom Petty to life, and June and John’s Rockin Country Caravan kicks off the night with classic Johnny Cash hits.

Three hours of classic rock favorites in an intimate pre-festival setting – it’s a hard Friday night to beat.

Make Your Mark at Paint the Day at the Beach

Don’t miss Paint the Day at the Beach – one of the weekend’s most hands-on activations, created by artist Sarah Honaker.

The experience invites everyone to collaboratively bring a joyful coastal scene to life through large-scale aerial-view coastal artworks using textured and dimensional elements inspired by a day at the beach.

The Rest of the Weekend is Just as Good

Saturday and Sunday are free and open to all, with more than 175 artists on display, live music all weekend, and interactive KidsWalk activities for families.

Food and drinks are available throughout the weekend, and the Arts District at Liberty Station is one of the more beautiful open-air settings in San Diego for an event like this – with that many artists, there’s always something worth discovering.

A portion of proceeds supports ArtReach San Diego, the nonprofit partner of ArtWalk San Diego.
