The Living Coast Discovery Center is throwing open its doors for one of the most family-friendly nature days of the year—Animals on the Bay Day—with $5 admission for all ages.
Up-Close Animal Encounters and Nature Exploration
This beloved annual event brings San Diegans face to face with the incredible wildlife that calls our coast home. Expect live presentations in English, Spanish, and ASL featuring eagles, sharks, rays, and sea turtles, plus interactive scavenger hunts, arts & crafts, and exploration stations throughout the center.
Community Partners, Food Trucks, and Family Fun
This year’s event brings even more reasons to spend the day bayside with community partners like Fleet Science Center, Ocean Connectors, Surfrider Foundation, Free Flight Exotic Bird Sanctuary, and I Love A Clean San Diego.
Refuel with delicious bites from Woodstock Pizza, My Pozole, Mahalo Shave Ice Co., Simply Fresh, and Kayak Café while soaking in the beautiful San Diego Bay views.

Timed entry tickets are being introduced this year to keep wait times down and ensure a more relaxed experience for all.
