Parents and their little ones will learn the tips and tricks of summer grilling, led by local Top Chef alum Giselle Wellman, Chef and Garden Director at the San Diego Jewish Academy. An advocate for supporting local purveyors and the environmental impacts of food waste, Chef Giselle Wellman works to create a sustainable outdoor education program as well as creating initiatives to move the San Diego Jewish Academy to a zero waste campus. Kids and parents will grill a seasonally inspired lunch followed by local EscoGelato floats for dessert.

Angela Estes is a trained visual artist who rekindled her passion for cake making and has built a reputation for crafting beautiful high-quality small batch baked goods for events and parties around San Diego. Kids and parents will learn the craft of decorating and creating a custom cake on their own.
