Join Bivouac Ciderworks On The Final Day Of Women’s History Month
A Woman’s Place…is in the kitchen, in the cidery, in the roastery, on the stage, running the company. This cider-pairing dinner is an exploration of the many talents of accomplished women in San Diego.
Join Bivouac Ciderworks in a celebration of all-things woman-created. On Thursday, March 31, join us for a 4-course tasting menu and cider pairing, created and curated by Bivouac’s own, Chef Sarah Carithers and Founder Lara Worm, and complemented by other woman-crafted, created & owned businesses.

All things woman-created
The menu will feature items like locally-caught fish in a ceviche crudo, locally-grown produce in pico de gallo, and traditional Mexican flavors with exciting twists. Expect fresh agua fresca cider; a return of a Bivouac-favorite flavor, “Halyard” (mango habanero); a dark Mexican lager-inspired beer/cider combo known as a “graf,” made in collaboration with woman co-owned & operated, Second Chance Beer Co.

Virginia Morrison, co-owner of Second Chance Beer Co. is also a former-lawyer, and the graf collab will be called “Two Lawyers Walk into a Beer,” finally, Bivouac will present a Mexican Hot Chocolate cider, infused with coffee from woman-owned, Kakawa Coffee.
Bivouac will welcome the return of musician, Julia Sage, a South Americana musician, and feature a to-go cider label inspired by Julia’s personal brand and music.
