Slide guitar, soulful vocals, and a bayfront setting: that’s the recipe for a great night out. Bonnie Raitt is bringing her Live 2026 tour to The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park this October, and San Diego is in for a treat.

The 13-time Grammy winner is joined by special guests Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen. Whether you’ve loved her since “Something to Talk About” or you’re just discovering her, this is a concert you’ll want on your calendar.

Hits You Know and Love

Bonnie Raitt is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose sound blends blues, R&B, rock, and pop.

After 20 years as a cult favorite, she broke through in the early ’90s with the Grammy-winning albums Nick of Time and Luck of the Draw, which brought us hits like “Something to Talk About” and “I Can’t Make You Love Me.”

Those songs have stayed with listeners for decades, and hearing them live is a treat.

Thirteen Grammys and Counting

The 13-time Grammy winner was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2000, and Rolling Stone named her one of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” and one of the “100 Greatest Singers of All Time.”

Not many artists land on both lists, and seeing her slide guitar in person makes it easy to understand why. Add her Hall of Fame résumé to a career that spans more than 55 years, and you’ve got a chance to see a true music legend up close.

Fresh Off the Road

Raitt has been touring for the better part of the last four years, connecting with audiences across North America, the UK, Ireland, Europe, and Australia since the release of her three-time Grammy-winning album Just Like That… in 2022.

Her 55+ year career has earned her a Kennedy Center Honor (Class of 2024), the Billboard Women in Music Icon Award (2022), and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award (2021).

Meet the Special Guests

Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen join the bill as special guests, so you’ll get a full evening of live music from the first note to the last.

Plan to arrive early so you can settle in and catch every minute of the lineup. With two acts on the bill, there’s plenty to enjoy from the moment you find your seat.

See you there!

A Grammy-winning icon, special guests, and an open-air bayfront setting make this a fall concert worth planning your weekend around.
