Shop Local In Carlsbad Village On Small Business Saturday
Carlsbad Village is the place to be on Small Business Saturday! The area has so many cool local businesses – it’s hard to find an area of San Diego that’s more packed with ‘local’!
And on Small Business Saturday, November 27th, The Carlsbad Village Association will be rolling out the red carpet for shoppers to enjoy shopping specials, discounts, live music, and good old local hospitality.

“Supporting small businesses strengthens our local economy in so many ways,” said Christine Davis, Executive Director of the Carlsbad Village Association. “Local small businesses add character to downtowns, they create jobs and opportunities, they foster real connections with local owners and employees, and tax dollars stay local and reenter the community. Shopping online, by comparison, does not benefit the local economy nor does it put tax dollars back where they belong.”
There is a free gift-card giveaway (no purchase necessary) hosted by the Carlsbad Village Association for a chance to win one of over 40 different gift cards to downtown restaurants, wineries, and taprooms – over $2500 in gift cards will be given away!
There will also be live, local musicians as well as a special holiday concert performed by the Carlsbad High School Jazz Ensemble to kick off the festive days ahead
