19th Annual Tree Lighting & Christmas Village In Little Italy
Christmas Village in Little Italy is now 19 years running, and they are only getting better at transforming this fantastic neighborhood into a winter wonderland with festive decor, seasonal vendors, live music, horse carriage rides, holiday treats, the tree lighting, Santa, and so much more!
Christmas Village will be in front of Piazza Basilone as always as well as throughout the new Piazza della Famiglia on W. Date Street between India and Columbia. Piazza della Famiglia – the new “heart” of Little Italy – officially opens in 2018, but you can get an early look at the annual tree lighting!
The tree lighting will take place at 5:30 this year and Santa will be doing pictures 4:00pm and 6:30pm so make sure you get your spot in line on the early side.
Little Italy’s iconic 25’ tower of over 1,100 poinsettias will be lit up the whole evening in the center of Piazza Basilone so be sure to check it out as well!
