Called “Summer Sips ‘n’ Sweets,” the Friday, June 9th, pairing begins at 8 p.m. in You & Yours’ light and bright tasting room – the perfect vibes for summer, might we add. The evening will see head distiller Laura Johnson and chocolatier Michelle Lomelin guiding guests through five increasingly complex courses of cocktails, bonbons and barks carefully picked to complement one another and the summer season.

Pairings will include:

• Bee’s Knees + Strawberry Lemonade bonbon
  Sunday Gin, lemon and honey + fresh strawberry ganache with lemon zest infusion and crystallized lemon in white chocolate
• Ranch Water 2.0 + Honeyed Serrano Lime bonbon
  Sunday Gin, lime, honey, serrano bitters and Topo Chico + milk chocolate ganache with serrano chile infusion and local raw honey from Julian with Limetta pâté de fruit in 38% milk chocolate
• Shirley Rose + Vanilla & Roses bonbon
  Sunday Gin, rose petal cordial and fresh lemon + vanilla Bean ganache and rose petal pâté de fruit enrobed in 64% dark chocolate
• Side Salad Cocktail + Tuscan Sun bark
  Y&Y Vodka, green bell pepper, basil, lime, honey, sea salt and olive oil + candied basil, sun dried tomato, toasted almonds and Hawaiian sea salt in 64% dark chocolate
• Outlook Hazy + Smokin’ Bacon Caramel bonbon
  Cedar smoked Sunday Gin, Y&Y Vodka + creamy caramel, Alderwood smoked sea salt and crunchy maple bacon in 72% dark chocolate
