A good cook knows it’s all about the ingredients! That’s why you’ll want to tag along with an Italian Chef to the vibrant Little Italy Mercato Farmers Market to pick authentic ingredients to cook up!
Little Italy Tours has recruited an Italian Chef to be your guide, as you work together to shop for and cook the perfect Italian meal under his expert guidance.
Your chef-guide is Italian-born Californian. His inside connections with local vendors will give you access to the freshest food in town!
You’ll then whip up a 4-course Italian feast in the home of your chef-guide!
The menu will vary based on what’s in season. You’ll learn to prep 1 appetizer and 2 main courses—uncovering the secrets to Italian home cooking. In addition, you’ll enjoy a glass of wine and our famous panna cotta for dessert.
This class is designed to be a fun mix of hands-on cooking and chef-led demos. Participants can bring their own adult beverage if desired.
The tour includes:
4-course meal (1 appetizer, 2 mains, 1 dessert)
1 adult or non-alcoholic beverage
1 food tasting at the mercato
Round-trip car transfer from mercato to chef’s home
