Persian Nights: Culture, Live Music, Food And Drinks At SD Museum Of Art
Thursday, February 16th, the San Diego Museum Of Art’s next installment of their popular sundown series travels to ancient Persia (modern-day Iran) with an evening inspired by the newly installed “Arts of Iran” and “Arts of South and Southeast Asia” galleries.
This night is way more than just a gallery viewing, it’s packed with live music, munchies, signature cocktails and best of all – interactive and engaging activities of awesome scale. We highlight just a few of them here:
- Find inspiration in the geometric Iranian motifs featured in the galleries to create your own mosaic choker necklace or cuff bracelet
- Add your personal flair to a collaborative sticky note mural, and enjoy a “Darius the Great” signature cocktail crafted by award-winning distillery Papa’s Pilar
- Don’t miss the Radiant Human photo experience to take home a photographic interpretation of your aura
- Purchase a t-shirt at the event and let a SnipTease Clothing artist create a custom design for you onsite
