Find the Clues, Crack the Code, and Save the Order at UC San Diego This Summer
Forget everything you know about escape rooms. Decoding DaVinci is part scavenger hunt, part immersive theater, part outdoor adventure – and the entire UC San Diego campus is the game board.
Hidden clues buried inside statues, fountains, monuments, park benches, and alleyways. A centuries-old secret society under attack. And a team of players – you included – racing to save it before everything burns down.
Centuries of Secrets, One Night to Save Them
At the center of it all is The 7 Pillars, a covert organization founded by Leonardo DaVinci himself, built on seven sacred tenets: Finance, Culture, Science, Spirituality, Architecture, History, and Technology. For centuries, The 7 Pillars quietly shaped civilization from the shadows – until now.
A ruthless faction known as The Claw has begun dismantling the order from within, assassinating one of its most revered leaders and leaving a vacant seat on the council. Someone needs to fill it. That someone is you.
Teams are summoned to a secret location and thrown into a high-stakes initiation involving cryptic codes, hidden symbols, shifting alliances, and enemies lurking in plain sight. Every decision matters. Every clue changes the game.

A Few Things Worth Knowing
Each session takes a maximum of 50 initiates, sorted into cells of six to eight. Larger groups get split into rival factions – which honestly makes the whole thing more interesting. For special accommodations, reach out to artpower@ucsd.edu.
